Clerys Mega Days

The bargains just keep on coming at the moment. Clery's has just announced a mega days shopping extravaganza this Thursday (today), Friday, Saturday and Sunday with up to 20 per cent off!

There's a host of events taking place at the store this weekend, including free makeovers by Smashbox's Christopher Loh, an international make-up artist, on Thursday and Saturday. Also, if you spend €50 at Smashbox, you'll get a free gift.

Clery's Sale Offers

If you haven't got around to the so-called and perhaps much dreaded "Spring clean" yet, then fear not, Clery's department store in Dublin's O'Connell Street has some great offers on furniture and homewares that will add a dash of Spring to any home.

Based in Dundrum, the popular British chain has loads of summer clothes on sale that will instantly get you in the mood for sunny days and long, warm evenings. If you want a sneak peek before you go browsing, check out the store at www.houseoffraser.co.uk, which allows you to shop by brand and always has a "clearance" section brimming with discounts.
H&M are boasting some equally attractive offers with "summer must haves" from just €4.95! They have a stunning range of beach wear at very low prices so if you're planning a trip in the sun, the store is certainly worth checking out.
Pamela Scott has a mid-season sale and Fat Face (based in Dundrum and Exchequer Street) has a half price sale. Visit www.fatface.com to have a look at their range if you're not familiar with it.

Kildare Village Asics Opening

A new boutique - Asics - is opening at the magnificent Kildare Village this weekend. To celebrate the opening, the store is offering a complimentary shoe bag for the first 200 customers. They're also offering 50 per cent off its GT-2150 running shoe down, from €115 to €57.50. The running shoe is available in different colours to suit men and women. I need not mention that the entire Kildare Village outlet always has amazing offers in its stores (I particularly like the discounts in Karen Millen), so if you're not interested in sportswear there are other bargains to be had elsewhere. If you're looking for a dress to wear to the races this year there are lots of stores, including Fran and Jane, that have some unbelievable offers. 

Kildare Village is open Thursday-Saturday from 10am-7pm and on Sundays from 11am-7pm. Monday-Wednesday opening hours are 10am-6pm. 

Debenhams Online Offers

The website www.debenhams.ie is offering up to 25 per cent off women's occasion wear. If you're a fan of Radley handbags and purses you'll be happy to know that there's 20 per cent off them at the moment too. There's loads of other bargains to be had on menswear and homewares, so get shopping!
Aside from the great discounts on offer in Debenhams, I attended a fashion show in Tommy Hilfiger this evening presented by Sonya Lennon from the RTE TV show Off The Rails. There was a €500 euro voucher up for grabs in the store and my good friend and like-minded bargain shopper, Pamela, won it! There's no better bargain than a €500 freebie. Happy shopping Pamela.

Arnotts are having a "mega weekend" sale offering 20 per cent off almost everything. It began today and continues until Sunday. Enjoy!

Bargain update - Oasis and Awear

Oasis has a great selection of discounted items on offer at the moment. It has tops for as little as €15 and I spotted a pink and black sequinned cocktail dress for just €44, down from €88. For just €25 there was a hip-length dark denim shirt and I also saw a pair of light tan-coloured trousers for only €19; perfect for the office. There really is a great selection of in-season items in store, with floral prints and burnt orange colours popular across the range. If you're looking for some bling I saw discounted chains, earrings and brooches.
I had a quick look in Awear today and saw a navy mac-style jacket for €32.50. There were discounted (some were half price)dainty heels and pumps on sale along with rails of skirts, tops and dresses all at bargain-busting prices.
House of Fraser's mid-season sale is officially over but there are still some bargains on offer in store.
